ECHOLOT makes its debut at the ECHOES EU second annual event

From 16 to 20 March, ECHOES, the organisation responsible for the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH) platform, held its Second Annual Event in Poznań, Poland. The week-long event featured a packed agenda for project members and stakeholders. ECHOLOT was thrilled to have the opportunity to participate actively over the five days and make its debut at an international event alongside its sister projects. ECHOLOT was represented by Lozana Rossenova from TIB, the project coordinator.

On 18 March, the event held a public afternoon session at the National Museum of Poland, where Lozana took part in a round-table discussion entitled ‘Cultural Heritage Cloud Ecosystem: Discussion with Sister Projects’. There, she presented the project’s key features, including its objectives, and explained how ECHOLOT will be validated through case studies.

“Discussions with sister projects were not only about finding out what each of the ten specialised projects will focus on in terms of tool development, community building and case studies, but also about discussing how we can start collaborating”, explained Lozana.

You can watch the recording of the public event featuring ECHOLOT here.

ECHOLOT was also present at the event with a poster, allowing visitors to find out more about the project and explore our social media channels and website.

In the words of ECHOES, the event “was a great success. Working in close cooperation with the Sister projects is already resulting in cross-fertilisation whilst the Joint Statement ensures the coherent development of both the European data space for Cultural Heritage and the Cloud for the benefit of European cultural heritage”.
